Safety
Safety Is Our Top Priority
At Cherokee Painting, safety isn't just a policy — it's a core value embedded in everything we do. With over 500 employees working across Oklahoma on federal, municipal, and private sector projects, we maintain an unwavering commitment to protecting our team, our clients, and the communities we serve. Our safety record speaks for itself — we consistently maintain an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) well below the industry average.
Every Cherokee Painting employee — from leadership to field crews — is personally accountable for safety. Our crews are empowered to stop work immediately if they identify any unsafe condition, no questions asked. We invest heavily in ongoing training, equipment upgrades, and safety technology. Our full-time Safety Director oversees all job sites, conducts regular inspections, and ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulations.
